While the media sleeps.

I just read online that bane of Corey Lidle's widow, Dr. Larry Rosenthal is still practicing dentistry (or at least was as recently as last week). This may not seem like Presidential politics, but it actually makes an important point that I've noticed again and again. The media don't protect us from guys like this because they think it's the government's job to keep us safe. But the government won't protect us, because they think it's the media's job to tell consumers which dentists are not very good.

And so neither one is doing anything about it, and that's why bloggers have latched onto this particular story. Because everyone else thinks it's someone else's problem.
